Frequently
Asked
Questions

Is it or is it not a tattoo?

it is. Anytime ink is put underneath the skin It legally is a tattoo yet, We use a different ink and techniques/depths than body tattoo’s which are done In a deeper layer of the skin. We use ink made for the face and meant to slowly fade so that we can continue to work through our changes (aging).

Is what you do microblading?

Not exactly, like the name suggests. Microblading is using a small blade and making small hair like cuts in the skin.

  • As an artist through the years we found that it creates a lot of unnecessary trauma to the skin. Which makes it harder to work on in future times as scared skin does not heal as well.

  • It also looks natural immediately after but the healed result does not.

  • It is painful and more delicate to heal.

  • Most people are not candidates.

  • There are other ways to achieve a soft hair stroke look without doing microblading. It’s called nano strokes. Which we offer.

Yes, we will always confirm it with your oncologist to have you cleared for it, as a safety measure.
